2003 Honda Element 2.4 engine 5 speed
Losses power when temperature needle is centered
and RPM hits 3000.
Honda Dealer Diagnosis is: faulty VTECH Solenoid
I have already replaced solenoid sending unit with out
fixing the problem. After checking around seems there are more then
a couple of reasons for this loss of power besides a faulty
VTECH Solenoid. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

this is what you should've posted the first time. your first post combined with the misspelled VTEC acronym makes everyone think you're a 16 year old ricer or a troll from another forum.

now.. are we talking a reasonable dive in power when accelerating moderately from a red light or does the engine stumble and completely fall on it's face when you floor it? does it pick back up after a few thousand rpm? what? any generic cel codes? obd2 codes?

VTECH is an electronics company
VTEC is variable valve timing

Jesus you guys are beating a dead ****ing horse...

To the original poster.

Do you have any check engine codes? It could be a multitude of things wrong. We can't diagnose a phantom here. If you are having power loss related with engine temp it could be many things.

-Engine coolant temp sensor
-Oxygen sensors
-Idle air control valve

try to be a little more specific with us, and ignore the losers who can't stop complaining about how to spell vtec.

tbh most times something with a k24 loses power when its time for vtec (roughly 3k rpm) 90% of the time the oil level is below the dipstick. (sometimes will set a trouble code)
e-diaging is a bit trickier if we dont have all the info.
what did you check so far?
