Shake under load
07 crv auto awd
blew pass front cv axle also intermediate shaft bearing housing blew up.
Replaced both. Axle from auto zone intermediate from Honda.
Has developed a bad shake in front end under acceleration and it is RPM dependant not MPH.
At first thought torn boot on rear axle or driveshaft support bearing might have something to do with it so removed rear wheel drive(drive shaft, diff, axles) this was before discoverey that the shake is rpm related.
rpm related and sounds like getting a flat tire. Checked i stall of intermediate shaft it is fully seated and in right spot spins freely or free enough.
Did notice running on jack stands it favors drivers side but i can stop either side with my hands not sure if that is normal for these cars or not I am assuming there is no kind of limited slip it is just an open diff.
shake is rpm related but can rev it up on jack stands with no effect. Can run it up to 80 mph on jackstands and barely notice anything but it is there. On road in first can run it up and shake goes with engine shift it to 2nd and shake drops with motor speed.
At this point I am guessing that somethingnin the transmission got screwed up when axle broke but not sure. Hope someone here can point me in right direction about how to further diagnose it. Parts are going to be bad enough as it is I can't be paying a labor bill too. If it is fucked is there another model that has a tranny that will fit and be an upgrade? And yes checked wheel bearings both seem fine maybe a little tight if anything but ertianly not blown out or cooked. Tires are fairly new and weights seem to be all there and alignment isnt off enough to be noticeable to eye or driving.

Yes only under load/acceleration. Goes away as soon as I let my foot off the gas and barely noticable going down flat road at part throttle but if I step in it it's shaking again.
This leads me to believe it's a bad axle. I've had tons of bad experiences using parts store axles that caused this type of vibration even when brand new. Have to find OEM/reman, or go for some better quality such as Raxles, DSS, etc.
