Replacing the interior clock?
The clock in my Cr-V from 1998 does not work anymore and it would be nice to replace it with one that shows the outside temperature. The original clock is the 4-wire type and the one I would like to install has 7-wires and the outside sensor has two wires.
It's easy to install the 4 wires needed for the clock but how do I connect the sensor to the clock? I guess I have to connect some kind of 5V referens to the sensor? Since I do not have a car with AC.
The clock itself seems to be a direct fit in the upper center vent. console -at least they look a like.

Yes I´m thinking to replace it with a JDM clock, placing the sensor outside is not a big issue it´s more the wiring, I guess I can not wire it directly to the clock since it needs a 5 volt reference and I do not have a clue on how to connect it all.
If you want to keep your factory clock, try this..........it worked for me.
