Engine mounts
My 98crv car vibrates. The mount between the engine and firewall was broken, my mechanic changed it. Now the vibration is less but still exist. I tried to search for the other mounts under the hood but could not locate any. I can just see the mount near the firewall which I replaced. I believe there are 5 mounts. Where are they hidden.
Bringing this topic back to the top .... Working on my 2000 CRV, and I see the LH (driver's side) front lower insulator is in rough shape. Those familiar know that this mount is held in with 2 bolts. Oddly, 1 bolt is missing.
When I put the proper size bolt in the hole (10X30 bolt) there seem to be nothing for it to thread into. From what I can see, you cannot access the top portion of where this bolts into.
Just seemed like an odd situation to me. Anybody have any experience with this type of problem?
Thanks, Steve

see how there is 2 holes on that one side? the bigger hole is the one your talking about...the smaller hole closer to the inside of the mount is the correct mounting hole.
