Post ECU Problem!

Okay someone has to help me haha. Alright I have 2000 Civic Sir that had the B16A2. The B16 kinda gave up on me so decided to get a B20B which was relatively a cheap replacement but makes good power and it actually has torque lol. So this past weekend I swapped the B20B in my SiR and now not really sure where to go electrical/ecu wise. The engine started and everything with the B16 OBDII harness and ecu but obviously did not run right and codes were going off everwhere haha. So not really sure what ECU I need to get the engine working properly. Can I use the same harness? Can I just get a B20B or some Integra ECU and it would be plug and play? Please give me some suggestions!

Thanks,

Default Re: ECU Problem!

b18b integra computer is gonna be the easiest to find. find one in a 99-00 integra (i believe 01 has an immobilizer? idk for sure) it's obd2b like your car so it'll plug right in. make sure you get one meant for a 5 spd car if your civic is 5spd.

or find a b20 ecu.. which may or may not be some combination of a headache or a wallet ache. never looked.

and yeah, just keep using your harness. and if you aren't having to pass emissions inspections get an obd2b>1 jumper harness and an obd1 integra ls computer, or any obd1 computer and chip it to run a b20.
