Was test driving a 2014 CRV and every time I stopped with the foot on the brake pedal, heavy vibration occurred, the whole car was shaking and annoying the hell out of me. Is this the same technology as VCM and can it be turned off?
All CRVs for sale show lower than rated MPG, so whatever it is, it is not working, and should be turned off.

2014 CR-V is a 4 cylinder, Honda never brought the VCM to any of the 4 cylinder engines.

Probably a bad engine mount or something else.

Real world MPG numbers nearly never match EPA estimates.

If it happens when braking it could be the brake rotors are warped.

It happens when full stop. The whole car shakes violently. Engine mounts should not fail on a 5 YO 4 cyl vehicle at 40k miles.

Yes, I am sick of Honda turning into Yugo. It has become almost impossible to find a decent vehicle.
