2002 CRV Multiplex Controller?
Brake Light stays on . Tested float sw and the hand brake sw, both good. I thought that the keyless elec locks not working was a separate issue but find that they are routed through the MCS also.
Entry light control - INOP
Keyless/power Door Lock - INOP
Key-in reminder - INOP
Lights-on reminder - INOP All MPC items
I thought I would see what the professionals say before I hunt down the MPCS Service Connector 07WAZ-0010100...Thanks

Tested MCU input test per 22A-236 and found a few fails.
C3 WHT Under all conditions/ ...should be continuity NO continuity. Just for grins ran a grd to the wire and the immobilizer did not like it, blinked, and would not allow start.
This goes to the dashboard wire harness so I have more work to do...
X8 WHT/BLK Under all conditions Attach to GRD IGN key light should come on. Did not see it but it was daytime so theres that.
I also noticed that the AC does not cycle on and saw this as an additional MCU failure item.

It looks like this MICU is one piece with the fuse box. I plan on searching a few salvage lots for a serviceable unit.
I could chase these wires for weeks and still end up with a solder joint in the MICU.

Found an 05 that is supposed to work. $75 plus tax. Online fusebox diagrams show it should work. This particular one does not have a fuse or the receptacles in the #1 slot. Everything seems to be working except no power source for the IGN coils. I now have a strange red wire running across the top of the eng to the eng fuse box to obtain 12v for the coils. Car now starts as it has power to the coils. It will work for now. I have a second fuse box coming that has the fuse in the #1 slot so an additional $99 but look how much fun we have had with diagnostics....

05 and 06 are different from 02-04. New engine, drive by wire, new rear end. Plenty of changes that would make the MICU incompatible. Different part numbers too.
Also you need to find one for the same trim level and transmission type. All have unique part numbers.

Thank you sir. I have an 02-04 AT on the way. Not sure about the trim level but it has the same pn S9A-A11 stamped on it as my 02 original has. Same fuses and locations also.
Other than have to run the 1 hot wire I have not found anything else not working.
