Default 17" steelies?

Has anybody ever seen 2007 CRV 17" steelies on a RD1? I keep seeing them pop up in STI forums and they look pretty sick painted. I'm thinking they would be a cheap solution for a wheel setup til something else comes along! Thought? I realize steelies are heavy too, I don't care.

Looks like painted steel wheels...I don't think it's going to fool anybody.

If you like how it looks then go for it.

Yep. If I can find any! Online they are $300+ for a set of four w/o tires... Just wait until they pop up locally...

I know right? It just takes the right person that doesn't want them anymore.

i dont think putting broken size rims/tires set up is ok on our Vs.... it might affect the rt4wd system??
alo i might snag a set in a day or two... im just negotiating it,LOL!
ill just keep it in my storage and look for a good set of tires for it!

This has certainly been awhile! How much did you sell your steelies for? I live way up by Canada! haha. I'd really need to find some near North Dakota otherwise I'd be buying alloys online... I appreciate the offer though!

They are a dime a dozen around here (still used at least to 2011, 11 CRV I worked on yesterday had them). The CRV's around here use Chrysler steel wheels for snow tires.

Edit: In fact, one just pulled in with Chrysler wheels
