09 CRV A/C weird problem, please help!
My friend's Dad has an 09 CRV with about 90k miles.
While waiting at a drive-through here in San Diego, he noticed steam coming out both sides of the car. He assumed that this was an issue with his cooling system, but the temp gauge never changed.
He then noticed that the A/C, although cold, was slowing down. So the fan was blowing but it started to slow down. Now the car's A/C is only blowing warm air and has no idea what happened.
Has anyone ever had this issue? If so, what could be the problem/solution? What, if any, could we check to verify such?
I've been working on cars for many years and I've never heard of such a problem.
Thanks.

a/c clutch relay stuck in closed position, is in the fuse box in the engine compartment which is labeled with a snow flake, replace it. have the a/c system serviced since it lost refrigerant thru the pressure relief valve. this will drain the battery since the a/c coil is energized when the engine is off. and for the smoke/steam he saw is the refrigerant coming out of the press. relief valve due to high pressure in the system.
