Default Zex any good?

I recently dropped in a JDM ZC VTEC into my 95 hatch and have been thinking about adding Zex nitrous just to embarass the mustangs even worse. My original plan was to do a bit of internal strengthening first before I added the kit, however the site claims that with the 55 hp nozzle i don't need any upgrades. I've heard so many different stories with nitrous and with a 55 shot, even with internals done am I eventually gonna blow up anyway??????? Thanks.

depending on the condition of your motor like how old it is and how many miles you got,...a 55 shot on a good motor will do just fine as long as you dont abuse it and spray like there is no tomorrow

what mustang are you running??? 1988 4 banger? because i believe you will get spanked with that zc in your hatch, then if you spray you might even beat a 1998 v6 ! ! ! then you can go brag about beating a gt ! ! !

pointless

where the hell have all you morons been? If any of you did your homework, you'd know that 92 and on ZC's from japan were an SOHC VTEC. The engine is in great shape as far as I can tell, and it's a hell of a lot quicker than the D15B7 was. As for beating a mustang, jeez, i wasn't even that far off those junk V-8's with the 1.5. The new motor will make it a lot closer and a shot of Zex should easily have me handing stock 5.0's thier asses on a platter. I ran a best of 16.4 with the D15 and shitstangs up here run around 15 flat. I'll easily be deep in the 15's with the new motor and traction provided i'll smoke thru the 1/4 in the 14's with a shot of Zex under the hood. Now, the whole point of this question was is it a good idea to put a small shot of nitrous thru your engine? Should i do internals first?

hybridhackbatch, are you on drugs? Go sell your civic and buy a POS domestic, idiot. What the hell are you doing bragging for mustangs? I nuked a new V-6 when i had the 1.5 in my car. Those cars are **** and the V-8's aren't much better.

With the 55 shot your engine should be fine. If you go much more you might awnna look into a wet kit because your injector capacity will be hurtin you even with a fpr.

thank you Primax, I appreciate the fact that I got a straight answer out of someone. What I've been told is that I should be ok with a 55 shot, and just to be safe it might be an OK idea to do the internals if I can afford it.
