Default ZC DOHC

Im thinking about buying this from Hmotors

ZC 88-91 (Civic) DOHC Long Block

- Motor
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Injectors
- Fuel Rail
- Throttle body
- Alternator
- Distributor

Couple questions:
1. IS this the same engine from the 2nd gen integra?

2. what else would i need to swap into a 94 CX hatchback?

As NOT SUGGESTED by http://www.hondaswap.com (go read please) I dont think it would be the best set up in the world. I'd keep it OBD I or II

Not worth it if you have a 92-95 Civic. Get a JDM D15B instead.

I don't think that's legal in Cali to put that older motor in your OBD1 civic...
Also that motor is fairly unique with very limited amount of interchangeable parts with other engines. You'd have more power, easier install, and more aftermarket parts available if you did an SOHC VTEC swap.

There's several, you might find one close to you so you can pick it up, otherwise there's some decent places in Canada if you're out east you can pick up some JDM motors. The D15B VTEC is a good one and can be had with factory LSD usually only an extra $150 on top of the swap price, well worth it. Swap with LSD tranny and all that usually around $800.

You can reuse your shift linkage and axles.

If I were you, I'd try to find a SOHC vtec ZC instead of the D15B. It's basically just a JDM Z6, so there's tons of aftermarket support, and it's got an extra .1l of displacement over the D15B. A tenth of a liter ain't much, but every little bit counts, right?

just go with the d15b, its got better Rod/stroke ratios than the d16z6 or rather sohc vtec zc if you wanna call it that, or if i was you id save my money and do a build on that cx motor with some stronger vx rods, different piston combo and a good vtec head, you will spend about the same amount of money but you can build it to accomodate what you want rather it be nitrous, all motor or boost

its up to you really, just a suggestion
