Z6 Edelbrock Intake Manifold On Y8?
I've been searching for days on how to hook it up, only could find a few comments, but it was mostly Y8 mani's on Z6, not the other way around.
As far as I know, I need a Z6 fuel rail instead of the Y8, because it has 3 mounting bolts, Y8 has only 2. Is there anything else that needs to be done to make it work?
My manual iacv should bolt on to the back on the IM right.
I'm also worried about the hoses hooking up, they got the y8 fuel reg on the left, but z6 on the right. PVC hose on the Y8 on the back, and on the front for the Z6..
Couldn't I just put an extra 1/4 NPT barb on the back, run the PCV valve there like it is meant for the Y8, and then run the Purge Valve on the front where the PCV valve was supposed to be hooked up and run it that way? I mean it all goes into the plenum right?

If you are buying an edlebrock intake why would you frankenstein it?
I mean, I understand changing stock intakes Y8 to Z6 or vice versa.
But if you are buying an after market intake why wouldn't you buy the edlebrock performer x for your head (Y8 version for Y8 head)?
That just doesn't make sense to me, spending 300 bucks on an aftermarket performance intake and buy it for a different head than what you are installing it on........
