yes they're the same...

the way I found out was doing a partsearch on majestic's website for both a 93 ex (tec) and a 93 cx (tec) obviously both had the tec dist.

Different part numbers though... so I can't say one way or the other

ex 103489

you sure that they are same? i have a d16z6 motor and have a cx. just tried to do a mini me to my car while i build up the motor. the cx distributor is no where near lined up.maybe i have the wrong head? maybe it's a vx? i have no idea but i do know that my car won't run.
