You knew it was gonna happen, but you hoped it wouldnt...
Now I am let down. Went to install springs/shocks...and NONE of the bolts were seized except for ONE... in the middle of the driver side LCA... so, as you know, you need a new LCA. *sigh* And the snow is flying soon..
but this i found strange, EG LCA (cast iron)= $300 CDN, 99 Civic LCA(aluminum?)= $80 CDN... what gives!

Junkyard? Don't pay that much for an lca. If you're gonna pay that much, go aftermarket.

yep. the difference isn't aluminum vs. cast iron though. both are cast iron. the $80 lca's have the mounting tab for swaybar endlinks. the $300 lca's don't. either will work, and the $80 lca's make mounting a swaybar hella easier.
however, you can replace _just_ the bushing instead of the whole arm. i would suggest this route, as it will only set you back about $30.
