yall think its possible
Ight im thinking of buyin a friends delsol for $500 to use for autocross purposes and was thinkin how great it would be for awd. I have been lookin at the tsi talons and was thinkin would it be possible to use the tsi drivetrain madness to make an awd delsol at a reasonable price, cause i think it would just totally own some subies if it works out.

prepare to be BBQ'd dude......unless you're a fabricator/machinest and have a degree in mechanical engineering and somehow could build that car at no cost, you might as well keep smoking that pipe. By the time you got a del sol to work in an AWD configuration you could have bought 2 Eclipse's or Subaru's and had them built to handle like a dream....

I'd actually rather use the old Civic wagon drivetrain to do an awd setup. the rear trailing arms bolt right up so all you're really left with is mounting the rear diff and having a driveshaft shop make you the necessary driveshaft and axles.

From the information I've read, the main problem with this (and with the CR-V setup, which if I'm not mistaken is similar) is that the system isn't strong enough to handle a large amount of power, so longevity might be an issue depending upon the engine setup being used.
