Hissing sound from throttle body area
93 del sol si 217,000 miles. The car erratic idle and goes between 700-1100 rpms. Doesn't stay constant at a certain rpms. I can't seem to pin point the hissing sound that's coming from the throttle body area. Usually when the car is cold it doesn't seem wanna accelerate and seems to get stuck and then all of a sudden lurches forward. Anybody had a similar issue? I don't know what to do. Thanks

Spray that bad boy throttle hiss with carb cleaner, you'll find it that way. When you get to where you can stall the engine with carb cleaner I think you got it.

You should be able to hunt around and find it, try the gasketed bolted areas, right next to the engine.
Or maybe lite a big fat cigar and see if you can see where the smoke migrates toward.

Or the hoses that come off and go to the brake booster. Anything after the throttle plate itself. Or I guess take the hoses off and stick your finger in the hole where they came from to see if the hose is leaking and not the throttle body.
