Y8 and Z6 injecto question

Y8 and Z6 injector question
Swapping the Z6 out for a Y8 in my Del Sol. Was using the harness and the injectors from the Z6 however one of the tips on the injectors got broken. Just the sheilding around the tip but it is broken off. So I need to use the Y8 injectors I have however the clips are not the same and do not match the Z6 harness.
I am pretty sure the injectors are the same flow rate and impedence but I would like to confirm that before I change out the plugs in my harness. Any one know for sure if the Z6 and Y8 injectors are identical other than the clips and the grooves on the plugs?

It may not be a direct plug and play, because the plugs are different shape. I used a dremel to fit OBD2 injectors in a OBD1 harness before, that's possible what you going to need to do. Reshape the clip/plug to fit. Otherwise, they will work just fine.

No I am aware they do not physically fit the plugs. The grooves are offset and different . It is simple enough to change the plugs themselves. I just wanted to confirm that the injectors themselves are the same specs i.e. ohms and flow rate as the Z6 injectors as I think they are. A quick search on here returned mixed results.
