Y8 Intake manifold on Z6 head
Jus to start ive done a search and all i could find was **** for sale.....
I have a Y8 intake manifold and i want to put
it on my Z6 but i want to know what exactly has to be done/modified
Can i jus go and unbolt one and replace with the other????
Any wiring needed to be done????
Any input would be greatly apprecited

just a bumP on this old *** topic...
cause i too have been searching, and all i've found is crap for sale, y8 IM on a6, y8 IM on y7, etc. etc.
besides, that one link on how to do it is down....
somebody... somebody has to come up with a real damn write-up.... (maybe if i get a hint in the direction i'll take pics when i do it
)

you got make sure that's the im is from 96-98 because 99-00 got the fuel rail turned other way so you will have to change it. use obd 1 injectors, or obdII injector plugs in obd I harness. everything else I think bolts directly up. oh yeah and IM needs to be from a 5spd car because auto got a different iac valve which will not work.
