Y8 IM on Y7 . . . new throttle cable?
i did a search and since there is no archive searching, i didnt get a clear answer. i am getting a y8 manifold and the guys ad says:"This is a complete Intake Manifold for a Honda Civic 1.6L Sohc Only, Comes with the Throttle Body, Injectors, Sensors, Idle Air Control Valve, and Hoses." is there anything else i need, like cable, any small **** thats gunna gimme a headache? thanks for any replies. and i just asked the guy if its for a 5-speed and he hasnt responded yet.

http://www.makuragi.s5.com/civic_99/Y8maniswap/ This link will help you out. When I did mine I made sure I had, new gaskets, coolant, oil and filter. You will also need a solderign iron, solder, wire, and electrical tape you will need to extend some wires and modify the harness a little. A HELM manual is a must! Good luck and have fun.
