Default y8 distributor on z6

I have a 98 Civic EX that I'm trying to put a d16z6 motor into. How do I make the y8 distributor work on the z6? I used the y8 intake and sensors so everything else is already OBD2.

you have to use the Z6 distributor housing w/ the guts out of the Y8. You'll have to run a OBD1 ECU (p28) because the Z6 does not have a crank sensor....

Yup, I already put a new y8 oil pump on it to mount the crank sensor so everything else is good. The motors already in the car and everything except the distributor is sorted.

No problems with the distributor moving with only one bolt holding it?

You really don't need a Y8 oil pump. You can simply perform the CKF trick shown here ---> http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm
