Default xs-power cams

→what up
i bought a pair of cams from a friend i looked them up on their website:
http://xs-power.com/honda/honda023.html
it says that you can use em with N/A, turbo, and supercharged apps.
i also got adjustable cam gears and they are the same brand, they have 3 adjustment points, and i think that the come advanced 5degrees.
so my question is, is it safe to put this in my b16a ('00 Si) and what else would i need to replace
i dont have any sort of forced induction just n/a with the basic intake, exhaust and might be getting an ECU from phearable.net
thanks

I have only heard bad reviews on the xs cams and how they eat up valve trains and heads.... im sure there are success stories but ive heard ALOT of negatives. it MIGHT be safe but I would definately replace the valve train.

Don't put these junk in your engine. The materials used for building the cams are not good when you compare it to other cams.

i would by that block and mate it with your b16 head. just use ARP rod bolts to be safe, and get a LS/Vtec kit. i think you would be pretty pleased with the results

alright sounds good, and if anything i can always go turbo as well right? since the block is low compression, i just wanna be sure on what i can do before i start buying stuff and then have to spend more money on something different
