Default xenon bulbs for projectors?

Hey,

I recently bought a set of one peice projector headlights for my 92 eg. My problem is that the lights really arnt that bright, so I wanted to explore the possibilities of putting a new bulb in them to make them a little brighter/clearer. Call me a ricer for putting new bulbs in but I noticed a huge difference in just putting a set of xenon bulbs in my old lights.

The thing is, if any of you have seen the bulbs in projectors, there way smaller then regular headlight bulbs and Im not sure if they work in the same way. Just wondering if there is something like a xenon bulb or maybe a silverstar out there that fits projector headlights?

Oh I already tried searching and came up empty handed...
thanks for any help.

p.s.sorry if this is in the wrong place, I dont come to HT much and was confused by it.

usually projector headlights have H3 unless it is an hid projector which would then be d2s

Its a non hid projector. Are the H3's really small bulbs? like the ones in mine are no longer then say like 15mm.

oh also are the low beams and projector bulbs the same? as far as I could tell they look to be about the same size, ect, but im not to sure.

thoes denji or sonar aka ebay projectors sucks donkey *****..
most of them will use H3 low beam and H1 high beam, in some cases sonar uses H1's for both which is a better than H3 bulbs.

h3 bulbs are the small bulb with a positive return line comming like a "sperm" haha

h1 is a bit bigger and only has one male prong comming out.

either way they both suck ...should check out this guy who did a conversion on halogen setting from H3 to 9006 what an improvement..

if not go retro like i did.. i love it and never will i go back to stock!

HID!!

the reason why H3suck is because its a short spread pattern and H3 is meant for fog lights

Sorry to take thread for a second...but I was retarded and got the h1 projectors/angel eyes. Both high and lowbeam were H1. I'm looking to put in yellow bulbs until I go back to different headlights...which I am already planning. However, what temp (in K) should i be looking for? In addition..what's another GOOD option for headlights other than stock? Or is JDM-stock the way to go? I considering JDM conversion as well as leaving it USDM.

In Conclusion:
H1 bulbs, what temp to get for daily-driven?
USDM, what's a GOOD useable option?
JDM, Is it the best option above of USDM?
