The 96-00 USDM don't have a 2.5" pipe on the cat. You will have to use a 2.5" to 2.25" cuplink to connect the header to the cat. Or you could just take the cat out and use a test pipe, but your car will be loud.

all 96-00 civic cat's(except EX and SI)are part of the header, the EX and SI cat's(OEM) are the same. You'll probably have to go with a test pipe, whatever you decide to do, you'll most likely be cutting and welding.

Just want to add that this "WUT" thing people use has got to be the most annoying thing in the world. That along with them using the words "there", "their", and "they're" any way they want drives me up the damn walls.
Lingo that 12 year olds use in chatroom should be banned on H-T. Or at least send an electric shock to the poster's fingers each and every time they do it. That'll teach 'em.
And for what it's worth, get a universal Carsound cat welded in.

LOL - And here I thought I was the only one. I especially like when someone uses two different there or your words in the same sentence, yet spells them the same. "Your going to need a different cat for your setup" or "There not going to help you with anything over there".
Great stuff, but back to the original topic....
My personal suggestion would be to order a high-flow cat from SMSP. It will bolt right up between a JDM-style header and your stock or aftermarket exhaust with no modifications, and Dave includes all the hardware you need for the installation.
