WTF removed oem stereo now no light ?
well I removed the oem stereo and well I lost the keyless entry, which I knew would happen. But now it seems I might have lost the light when one opens the doors. I don't know what its called. But can anyone confirm if this happens and if one can fix it? All this in a 97 civic

Nope nope.
96-98 Civic some reason decided tying the dome light activation into factory radio was a good idea (maybe as a door trigger? I'm unsure). Anyway, there are two wires you diode together (you could just twist&tape, but eh). I don't recall them off hand, will search, just a tick.
