WTF?! Plug you clock into you hazards...
I had taken apart my gauge cluser and after I put everything back together, I took the car for a drive. I noticed that my turn signals didn't work and it was because I didn't plugin my hazard button.
I went home got the button and accidently pluged in the harness for the clock. Yeah, weird it fits.
Anyway, my signals still didn't work. I pushed the harzard button and that didn't work either. So I turn off the ignition and pulled the key out, the car was still running! I depressed the hazard button and the car turned off.
I don't know if it broke anything, but it was weird as hell having the car running.

Crazy stuff. When you mis-plugged the hazard, you must have crossed one or several wires.
The first thing to check when your blinkers aren't working would be the relay. It's located in the lower fuse box on the driver's side below the steering column, as I'm sure you know where that is. Look for the diagram and replace the relay and see what happens.

Re: (keemosaki)
I've heard of this quite a few times over the years.
Yes, you can switch them up and it'll prevent the car from cutting off.
I never did see how you could screw up the plugs, but apparently you can.
No, you did not hurt anything by doing that.

Probably just keeps the ignition circuit live.

Yeah everything works.
I mixed up the plugs because I don't have a clock and I just reached back and grabbed the first harness and it pluged it.
I'll try and get a video of it this weekend.

Re: (drevinder)
Thats the craziest **** I have seen on HT so far. Pulled your key out and it was still running.....I bet you **** yourself after noticing that. I would. Yeah you better take it apart and get a manual or something that will show you what goes where.
