i have a 93 hatch dx. i bought the car as a shell a few months ago. the steering wheel was there, but not bolted on, so i bolted it on. the cluster is for an automatic. the car is 5speed. so obviously the cluster is not the orignal, w/e. and the steering wheel, im starting to think, isnt the original one either. it has an airbag, but it was not connected. i took the car to state inspection, and it did not pass bc the SRS light would not turn on at all. the steering wheel does not have any sort of connection to the dash. the steering column doesnt have the cable reel either. i looked under the dash and do not see any plugs or cables that would lead to the horn/airbag. im pretty stumped on this one. i checked the fuse box below 24 and 25 both having to do with srs, they are good. idk if i should buy a dx cluster, or maybe the bulb is out for the srs, is that a possibility? i do not see any wires coming from the steering wheel and it doesnt have the cable reel. i need the light to come on just for like 5sec after the car is turned on for it to pass. im confused haha the fuses are there, but no cables around where the cable reel is supposed to be.
