Write-up for bottom EK brake lights?

Write-up for bottom EK brake lights?
Anyone have the write-up to make the lower section of the tail light on an EK light up when the brake is pressed like the top? I've seen it awhile ago, and I tried searching everything, was hoping someone has it saved or is just a better searcher then me, Thanks!

under the turn signal part, the bottom red stripe that is only on with your parking light, I seen a write-up awhile ago to make that come on when braking, with the top part. EDIT, sorry if I wasn't clear here, I'm talking about HATCH tail lights.

i've never heard about it, but my guess is it cant be very hard to add another bulb to the bottom half and splice it to the top bulb? sounds interesting... if you ever get it done post it, i'd like to see the pics.

I've never heard of this, but it sounds interesting.
I'm guessing that it involves taking the wires coming from the lower parking lamp socket, cutting them, and reconnecting them to the wires from your brake light socket. You might also have to change the bulb to the bulbs with two of those metal wire things....sorry I don't know what they are called.
I see BigRonDawg beat me to it......but it's gotta be something like that, not hard.

Very easy. just go get yourself another double filament socket and replace the single filament socket with it. Wire it up to the existing wires that go on the top light and connect it to the new wires on the new socket. ADD bulb and your set! VOILA!!!
