wow!, clutchless transmission! old news to many but pretty new to me...
got done watching an old GRIP video, they were in japan with the almighty TOP END, which is an all NSX team. they interviewed the owner of the "fastest" nsx out of them all which if i may say was pretty damn impressive. then they talked about how it was clutchless and all you did was just shift the gears (my guess). so my question is, can anybody explain or provide a link of what a clutchless transmission consist of? im in ******* shock on how clean the NSX's are over there. and what other cars have clutchless transmission? drag cars maybe? sorry if its a dumb question but damn....i never new something better than fried chicken exsited

My guess would be they're made for faster shifting, but would wear out the tranny fast as hell and would only be useful for people that can afford to replace them daily...

They have that on drag bikes,
Basicly what you do is cut out the ignition for a second while your shifting so its like hitting the clutch only not, Its a lot faster then the clutch methode.
