Would Type R springs fit onto a 99 Civic coupe?
I was talking to a friend about the bounciness of my car on skunk2's and kyb's...he said that he has the same problem with his eibachs and kyb's... but he said that if you put Type R springs on there that would fix the bounciness...but just not as slammed..... I really don't mind about not being so low.....but will the R's springs fit on my car???
and whats a good price for them? I've been quoted 150 shipped and 200 shipped...
Thanks guys...

Yes, they will fit perfectly fine on your car. I believe they are a progressive rate spring, and would only lower your car about .5 of an inch.
You may also look at H&Rs OE springs, or eibach sportline (more aggressive lowering), i believe that those might have the less bounce you are looking for.

Since the amount of drop with the ITR springs is less than aftermarket springs, you would have no problems provided that you get an alignment after getting the springs. The bounciness would also be less of a problem because they're softer than the Skunk2's that you have now.
Eibach sportlines drop it about 1.5" from stock and that's pretty much the maximum drop that can be achieved before you need to invest in a camber kit.
Compared to the stock SOHC EK Civic height, the Si's springs are about 1/2" shorter and the ITR springs would make the civic about 3/4" lower, depending on weight, of course.

Gee, maybe because a billion or so dollars of research went into the development of the ITR. That suspension is about as close to perfection as you can get. They are OEM parts that have massive quality control and can be had for short money.
Think before you speak.
