no.. because that year motor will come with a cable tranny in which your car needs a hydro tranny... If you have that motor in your hands though, just get a hydro tranny for it and you'll be golden.

You might try a search. I am sure someone has done it or addressed it.

You should be able to pop in a B-series hydro tranny without modification. Not 100% sure, but I'm thinking it would.

all b-series tranny will bolt up to all b-series engine. 89-91 b-series cable tranny have smaller main input shaft. 92+ tranny use larger shaft, make sure you get the right clutch for the right year tranny.

post this in gdd, all the fantasy tunner questions. That way the people that have actual parts, and problems can get helped first.

you can use the cable tranny, just need the hydro to cable conversion kit. hasport.com have them.

There are now a few companies that carry the hydro to cable conversion.

For the b16a1, you will need all the proper mounts, distributor, need to change out the injectors, replace mechanical vss to electronic vss amongst other things...

If you have strict emmission testing places depending on where you live, it might not be worth getting hassled over.

you can't run obdo dist. on obd1 car. the injectors are peak-hold not saturated, but you can still use it if you wire up a resistor box.
