wont start

my friends were driving there car turned off came back and it wouldnt start, its not getting spark, changed spark plugs still no spark is that the distributor or what

what year, car,and motor. Check the coil pack inside the distributor.

its a 94 civic not sure what motor but its sohc non-vtec and the ign fuse was fine and what do i look for on the coil pack to see if its bad

Pull the coil out of the distributor and remove its metal shield. Look for hot spots on the coil body which can indicate a bad coil. ICM (igniter) could also be bad. Both are common failures . Good Luck
