Your stock 02 sensor only read a small portion of the A/F range. The signal that it puts out is between 0-1V if I remember correctly. With my Techedge 1.0, the signal goes between 0-5V. I'll have 5 times as much reading out of a wideband than you will out of a stock 02 sensor. You may be able to fine tune it if you get it within that small reading area, but if you go rich or lean off of that, you have no idea how rich or how lean you are.

You can do a custom built Techedge pretty cheap now. If you buy the prebuilt I think they're somewhere around 300-400 dollars.

Look in the FI classified forum. There's a sale on the PLX M-300/500 going on in there. I picked mine up from there. I think they're starting at around $300 and some change.
