Wipers Won't Shut Off - Switch Replaced - 97 civic
My wipers won't turn off. off, intermediate and low all do low speed. High does high speed. I can do high or low, anything less just does low. I have to pull the fuse when it's not raining. Had to put it back in on the side of the freeway today... I can't find a relay for it, not listed on diagrams. The link at the end says I should get 4v from the wiper motor connector. All I can get is either 12v or 0v with every combination... Can't find my haynes manual and I'm having a hell of a time. Got it all apart but have to put it back together with no results to go to work tomorrow...
They don't move slowly or get stuck. Fuse 2 and 26 are fine and continuous. The wipers work how they should unless I want them off or intermittent. Please help

When you turn the column switch off, the wipers are supposed to keep running until they reach the fully down position, where a switch in the motor opens to stop them. So the problem is likely that motor switch. There is also an electronic module for the intermittent function which could malfunction.

By "electronic module for the intermittent function" do you mean the integrated control unit box on the back of the fuse box with the ten pin connector?
