Re: Willow Springs 08/03/02 (Knight Of Ni)
how much did this cost ? and could you describe the event.
The schedule called for 5 seperate 30 minute sessions per group (2.5 hours of driving up to 120mph on the back sweeper!). The groups were divided into 3 categories; novice, intermediate, advance. And drivers can move up/down a group if they feel it's necessary.
Cars that participated include; RX7, M3, Porsche Boxter, Carrera, Supercharged NSX & S2000, Vipers, and the lone Civic of "Jackson" and Prelude of "bb6h22a".
Good times.

Well
Nice meeting you too Migs.
I didn't drive, the shop damaged my wheels as they were mounting my track tyres
But the EK and BB6 were indeed the only FWD cars there. Both drivers, Hubert and Tony did very well, passing a couple Corvettes (one Z06), RX-7s, etc. That is quite a feat since the track is "The fastest road in the west", which I believe would favor the higher horsepower cars as opposed to the lighter Civic or even the Prelude.
It was a very good day, not as hot as I thought it'd be thanks to the breeze.
I think Mr. Shin was there for like 3 minutes then left.
Nice pictures, where you two the only front wheels drives there? How did you fare against the competition?

Re: Well (Mario)
Awsome pics Mario. I had a great time even though that track was a little too high speed for my liking.
