Will this work?
Guys, i'm currently in the process of buying parts for my auto to manual swap for my 95 EG ex coupe. Anyway, there is a 97 tranny for sale (ex) and i was wondering if EVERYTHING tranny/axles etc, would bolt into my EG??? he's got a pretty good price on the tranny..
Thanks for the help!

yes it will work.....
the tranny itself will bolt up to the trany easy....the reverse plus might have to be mod'd to fit......I'm not sure about hte speed cog......
shift linkage should be teh same....
I'm like 95 % sure it will work...

the tranny will work in your car. it will bolt onto your motor. you will need a new flywheel and clutch. i am however, not sure about the mount on the tranny side that attaches to the frame rail. you may need to remove it and have a manual one welded in. why not swap in a b-series at this time as well since you are looking at alot of work anyway?

No, i'm not swapping. If i had money growing off of trees i would, but i've already started piecing together my D16 turbo parts. Already ordered hondata too. Plus D16's are a dime a dozen. If i blow my stuff, i wont have to break the piggybank to get back on the road.

Yeah, but it has like 50,000 miles. IS that still pretty steep?? That's shipped to my door too...
