Default will these aem pulleys work on my car?

i met this guy yesterday and just happened to have some aem tru power pulleys laying in his car that he didn't want. so he just gave them to me. very cool and nice guy.

well, i was wondering if they will fit on the car i have now. i have a 93 hatch with the stock dx motor in it. on the box of the power
pulleys, it say 96+ civic sohc. can i fit these pulleys on my sohc motor or they won't work? oh yeah, he gave me the belts that came with the pulley's also. none of this stuff has ever been installed.

They might fit - I don't know for sure, but this I do know:

THEY SUCK.

I had them on my B18C1 and not only was it no noticable difference on my *** dyno or the real dyno, they make the light dim and **** because the alternator not work as good.

Sorry. Not to sound like an *** but I'm trying to keep you from wasting your time on that mod.

i looked on the aem website and there are different part #'s for the pulley's they say go to my car and from the pulley's i have that say they go to a 96+ sohc. the guy who gave them to me said another guy told him they are not worth the time to put on so i guess thats why he didn't want them either. thanks for the info.

yea, i wouldn't waste your time putting them on, i noticed the same thing about lights diming and the damn alternator not charging the battery as good. They don't add power nor do they take it away, just not the best investment. At least you didn't pay for them.

My friend went through three batteries and two years thanks to his pulleys and sub.
