92-95 civic and 94-01 integras except Type R's share the same suspension
96-00 civics share the same.
looking into buying full coilover sets, like tein, mugen, d2, function&form...they dont sell them for 92-00 civics as one, they sell 92-95 and 96-00 for civics, i believe they are different

That is not 100% true. You can install EG suspension on an EK, EM1, or EJ chassis. You just cant put EK suspension on to an EG chassis. The front struts fit fine. The rears you will need spacers for because the fork at the bottom of the strut is wider on the EG struts than the EK. Trust me, I put Function Form Type 2's on my car that came off a 92-95 Coupe and I drive a 98 Coupe. It will work fine.
Easiest way to get the correct spacing is to buy some washers that fit over your LCA bolts and put an equal amount on each side. Some companies offer the spacers at the exact length, but they charge more than the 80 cents that I bought my washers for.
