will a P72 ECU run an ls motor?
whats up guys i have a GSR motor w/ a spun bearing that i am rebuilding all motor while its apart. but in the mean time im gonna buy an LS and drive it w/ that. but my question is will a GSR ECU run it?
both motors are OBD1, so im thinking it mmight juist throw a code for the VTEC not being there. hell i know p28's run LS's cause me and my buddys have done it just to see if the ECU was good. i also have a a PO6 froim a 5th gen dx, would that be better to run? thanks

yes it will work without much problems. you'll get cel/mil/check engine for vtec/knock but it should be no concern.
DX will run as well, little more leaner running but it will not cause any problems or cels. also it can be easily converted to p75/pr4 teg LS ecu as well.
