as the topic states. it's a 2000 civic si with aem cai, jdm itr 4-1 header, carsound high-flow cat, and a'pexi n1 exhaust. anyone with identical mods (or something close) go through the ca smog check and pass? thanks in advance

Put your stock cat in, and your JDM header will not pass the visual.

My 99 Si passed with just intake, header, exhaust, and a cat from an EX. I switched everything else to stock.

you wont pass visual as stated before, and passing the sniffer test is different, because there are too many factors that weigh in like the condition of the motor in general and if you are doing a tune up before you test. but i sat put as much stock stuff back on as you can to be safe.

u can put the heat shield on the header and it should pass visual

Yeah, definitely put in a stock cat. I've met too many people who failed because their hi-flow cats couldn't filter out enough pollutants. Better safe than sorry. And about the visual ... ask around and see what smog shops don't care about that ****. I found one that could care less about what's under my hood. My A'PEXi header has no CARB EO number, but the guy didn't care. He tested, I passed, and it was all fine.
