Will the front bumper of a 96-98 fit on a 2000 Coupe?
I'm wondering because, i have noticed there is a little difference between the two bumpers(probably obvious to everyone else). It seems that the front air dam of the 96-98 civics is longer than the one on the bumper of 99-00. I need it because my intercooler is cramped with my current bumper.
Anybody know if they are interchangeable?

yea...but only if you get matching 96-98 fenders, grill, headlights, and hood with the bumper. In your case...you probable don't want to do that...so no, it's not a direct swap.

Anybody else have any answers. I would hate to have to go out and buy a front bumper of some wild bodykit just because of the larger opening. If not, does anyone know of any NONagressive aftermarket front bumpers with a larger/longer air dam.

maxim, u could go with a buddy club front end. or on http://www.extremedimensions.com the "GTP Typr CW kinda looks like an exaggerated (sp?) 99-00 front end. also the "jitsu" front end is basic with a big middle hole. good luck man
