Default will DC oem muffler fit ej8?

i wonder if those hangars would line up. hmmmm.

i know it wouldn't bolt up, but the muffler shop could easily weld it in place.

whadda ya think?

oh, and this is to replace my POS ebay special OBX twin-sh*t. oops, i mean twin loop. (hence all the topics about exhaust)

It will be about 8 inches short to the tip of the rear bumper

it sounded great at first, but quickly got louder and louder and resonates at certain rpms. the resonating changes, sometimes it's at 2 grand and sometimes it's higher. it's almost as if the stuff inside is breaking apart and moving around. i've heard other reviewers say great things about this muffler, even heard great sound clips, but in my experience it's only been a waste of money.

Ive got a stock ej6 muffler on my ride, and a friend with a ITR is getting a t1r full exhaust setup.

Was wondering if i could just bend some hangers to make the axle-back from his ITR fit my EJ6? Getting it free/cheap.

-Thanks.

In the pic on top it looks like the hangers are a bit short.

Anyways the ITR axleback should be a tiny tiny improvement, right? It flows better i bet.

The hangers are gonna hook right but the axleback itself is short therefore the ITR axleback will not line up to the tip of the bumper.
