Will D16Y8 Alternator fit a 92-95 civic ? D15Z1

Curious anyone know if a D16Y8 alternator will fit a 92-95 civic ?

It will fit but a Y8 is an OBD2 alternator. The plug is different. You can swap your round, obd1, plug over to the square OBD2 style one and be good to go though.

I thought i read somewere that the lower bracket was different. But i went and looked at my EK and EG and there the same. The Eg one is alum

My plug on this one is Oval 3 pin the EG one is round 4 wire.
