Will a d15b fit into a 2003 lincoln town car trunk?
I am trying to replace my engine since it blew a headgasket. The engine costs $125 to ship or I could get it in my town car if it will fit in the trunk and save some green backs.

My friend and I fit one in the back of a civic wagovan. The rear door made it pretty easy to get in . My brother bought a integra and the previous owner had the entire drivetrain in the trunk. I am sure you can do it. Bring something to tie it down and the trunk if needed. Make sure you tie the motor down you don't want someone rear ending you and sending the motor into your back and head.

Depends on how tall the trunk is too, and the configuration of the opening. Hatchback vehicles are much easier to load oversized items into than a standard trunk. Personally, I wouldn't want a filthy engine in my trunk. I'd just go rent a truck. If the place is reasonably close, Home Depot has rental vans for $20 for the first hour and a half. Not sure the rate after that, but if you can wrap it up in an hour or two it'd be fairly cheap.

It is about 3 hours away. Norfolk, Va to Manassas, Va. Well actually the reverse. A uhaul was $166 prereserve and they can ship for $125 but I figured about two tanks of gas would be my cost
