Will a 97 Del Sol AC compressor work on a 93 Del Sol??

Will a 97 Del Sol AC compressor work on a 93 Del Sol??
I go to school with a girl who has a 93 single cam Del Sol and I sold a 97 single cam Del Sol AC compressor to her. It bolted up fine but the two ports the AC tubes hook up two are slightly different on the inside. Looks like the tubes will bolt up fine but I don't know if they will seal right. If anyone could help me on this it would be greatly appreciated.
