Will 96-98 Rear Hatch Fit on 99-00

Will 96-98 Rear Hatch Fit on 99-00 ....besides the fact that the locks would have to be swapped out cause 96-98 opens with a cable from the front while 99-00 is a latch

yes the rears are the same its the front ends that are different between the yrs
