Default Will 18's fit on my EG?

I have a set of 18" ADR GT sport wheels, that i'm trying to figure out if they will fit on my EG Coupe before I try to buy any tires for it.. If it will fit, does anyone know what size tire I would need to get for it? I have aftermarket coil over suspension in the event I would need to raise it an inch or so to accommodate the larger wheel. Any help would be appreciated!

http://www.hookupshop.com/GT%20Sport.htm

Here are the wheels if it helps to figure out which size tires I would need, thanks!

I have seen 17's fit with fender rolling but i think 18's are a bit over the top, might look a little like this?

Those are like 22's lol.. I had 17's on it and it looked just fine, I dont think that 1" would make a world of difference, however I dont want to go buy a set of tires and they rub because I got the wrong size. I would rather ask someone with experience and see what size would be ideal.

Your not going to find a answer. 18s are way too big for a civic to fit properly and will jack your speedo all up due to size. Not to mention it will feel like boat anchors on all four corners!!!

Here is one with 18's, looks really clean.. I think it's a matter of personal opinion! I have factory 15" wheels on it right now and i'm not a fan.

Where does the tire end and fender begin?
Im sure its rubbing too.
I have to agree with speedjunkie...everything will be fouled up and you'll have some serious body roll too.
Might be a personal preference but i think it looks pretty ghey

I read that 215/35/18's would most likely be a pretty tight fit but they would.. I'll post some pics after I get them ordered and put on the car..

Coupe, in case you had trouble reading that.. I wasn't seeking your approval, I was simply looking for help. Not exactly sure why you would comment on a post if you weren't going to be helpful. I appreciate you keeping my post at the top of the forums thread though, at least you were useful for something.

Show us some pictures then... it will serve as what not to do when the car is too top heavy and turns like a truck.

I had 18's on a crx a LONG time ago. like 98, long time ago. They fit....it rode like hell tho and didnt make turns well.

anything will fit, however 15's + a drop is just right for eg's and tires are alot cheaper

18s will fit. It will not ride nice at all. Will need to involve some major fender rolling. 17s would be the max I would go for a Civic and that is still pushing it.

You won't be able to find proper sized tires. 175/70R13 is the stock size. The closest comparable size for an 18" wheel is 225/25r18, and no one manufactures a tire in that size.

Sell the 18s, and get something functional.

I love all the confusion between people.. They will fit, they won't fit, they will fit, they won't fit.. I think I'll just figure it out myself lol.

they will fit as longs as no fat chicks, im pushing 17's comfortably but if i stuff 3 people in the back and a full trunk im rubbin. i learned the hard way, your better off to go no rim and all tire. i am currently all rim rigt now and i bent two rims because of penndots shitty patches.

I don't know why I get so much hate from this, if it doesn't work out then I will fix it accordingly. I appreciate the heads up but I had 17's and i liked them but I felt I could go even bigger and I want to try it.

On a side note does anyone have any tire suggestions (type, brand, ect.) I'm going for 215/35/18 .. Probably one of the only sizes that will actually fit.

They will not be functional on a stock car, period. If you'd like, I can quote my previous post that clearly explains why.

Increase the wheel size by 5'' and wonder why people say it wont work.

Will it work? Kind of. Will it work well? NO. Will it look good? Hell no.

My frined had 18''s in HS. They didn't fit correctly, rubbed like hell, looked like ***, rode like ***. Not to mention he bent 2 wheels before he got mad and removed them.

16's are as big as you should go.

Will they fit? Yes. Does it matter what people think about how they look? Absolutely not. As if there was some sort of rule about how small/big your wheels should be. Meh.

18" Enkeis. Swapped off of my old Prelude. Rode on these for YEARS. Completely functional. No body roll. Did not turn like a truck. No fender rolling unless you're trying to go slammed. And if you are, you shouldn't be rolling on a combo this size. The only downside was that they were heavy.

Feel free to tell us what tire size you're running, and how far off your speedo is, grumble. Incorrect speedo = not functional.

I'm not running these now but they were 215/35/18.
I wouldn't call a speedo being off non-functional. Innaccurate yes.
And I think the question was a simple "will these fit?" and not "Do you think thee look okay?" of "will my speedo be off?". Yes they will.

Just trying to clear up some misconceptions.
