i went to the dealership yesterday and picked up a oem oil filter for my b16, now this is the third time i change the oil after my swap (used fram the first 2 times) and i never seen or used a washer on the oil filter. does anyone out there seen or has heard of this before? what's it for?

ahhh! that makes total sense. i didnt even think about that. fram doesnt provide us with that, goes to show the quality of oem parts, even as somthing small like this!
