Default Why is the CDM and USDM Si\SiR named differently?

Why is the CDM and USDM Si\SiR named differently? they're the same car, also I have a Silver SiR in Canada, what colors can you get out there?

cause it's a differant country, and a differant Market.

It's called VTi in Australia and some european markets.

1999-2000 USDM Civic Si
Electron Blue Pearl
Flaminco Black Pearl
Milano Red

1999 CDM Civic SiR
Electron Blue Pearl
Flaminco Black Pearl
Milano Red

2000 CDM Civic Sir
Vogue Silver Metallic (replace EBP)
Flaminco Black Pearl
Milano Red

Isn't it actually because US discontinued one of their civic trim levels? I think they took out the EX level and then replaced it with the what we called Si and then when the SiR came out, it became the Si for US. Where as Canada, we kept the ex model.

Hmm...then again, I could be mistaken....
