Default Why can't you chip jdm ecu's?
anything in particular?
trying to figure out if i can chip a jdm p72 auto ecu to 5 speed program?

acording to jdmhondaparts.com they can't chip jdm p72's

OBDI can be chipped
OBDII cannot.
if its a OBDI p72 its no problem.

OBD I JDM ecu's can be chipped. It's generally preferable to chip a USDM tho, atleast that's my understanding....
