Whos got the best flip-flop trunk kit?
I wanna do a flip-flop trunk on my 93 ex, whats the best kit to use? where can i get it and how much? do you think i should just go get the parts from home depot? i dont want it to be flimsey

Search around, I don't think you even need a kit. Not really sure, but I remember someone saying the ebay kits were just rip offs and you could do it yourself.

My friend made one with all hardware store equiptment for like $10 and just painted all the components the color of his car...

haha yeah its pretty ricey and useless but itll make the car look better, should have posted in the apperence forum, im all for performance, but i like to look good too

What the hell is a flip flop trunk kit? Do you mean the cover for the spare tire? The one in a 92-95 Sedan is strong as hell, you could sleep on it. But they dont flip up. If thats not what your talking about the forget the last 2 sentenses.

i think he means a trunk that, instead of pivoting at the rear edge, pivots in the middle. its quite useless, and probably gets in the way alot but hey, "it looks good" :X

that is ******* stupid. doesn't look like a very functional way of opening your trunk - how are you supposed to fit big stuff in there? you'd be better off just buying some
